AEROSMART UK is a mobile smart repair company who specialise in aviation Smart Repairs. We are not, nor do we try to pretend to be, licensed engineers, although we may employ someone who is a licensed engineer. If panels, seats, flaps etc or any other control surface have to be removed from the aircraft, this cannot and will not be done by ourselves. It is also the responsibility of the owner/operator of the aircraft to make sure all work is inspected and logged by their engineering organisation.
In order to comply with CAA regulations, you as the owner/operator must let your engineering organisation know what we are doing to your aircraft and gain permission for us to carry out our Smart Repair services. The onus is on you, the customer and not AREOSMART, to do this.
All job requests have be entered on the confirmation slip and returned to the Aerosmart office prior to and within in time for the job to be put in place. A job order will only be placed for processing once the Terms & Conditions and Confirmation Slip have been duly signed and returned to the Aerosmart UK office. On receipt of these of these documents the job/s requested will be created as an order. There is a £25.00 cancellation fee due if the job is cancelled after confirmation has been received. This will be waived if the job is re-booked.
We may need to connect to your water, electricity or air supply and have use of a hanger for the time it takes the Smart Repair to be done, particularly during inclement weather.
At the completion of all works requested, the customer must sign our disclaimer form as confirmation that they are satisfied with all works carried out and that no additional damage has been caused to the aircraft by AEROSMART UK
Aerosmart UK operate on a payment on completion basis, and do not offer credit facilities, payment can be made by credit card, cash, or cheque supported by a cheque guaranteecard. We accept the following methods of card payment:- Mastercard, Visa, Solo, Maestro, Electron and debit cards. There is no additional cost for this service
Item/s that require removing and re-attaching to the aircraft i.e: seats, panels, flaps, spinner, etc must be undertaken by a qualified engineer as already stated above. It is the sole responsibility of the customer to ensure that any work carried out by Aerosmart UK is recorded in the aircrafts logbook.
If you wish to send product for repair direct to us, please ensure you obtain a certificate of posting or receipt from your chosen courier as proof of collection.
